Kancho to visit London

It is finally confirmed. Kancho, Grandmaster Yoshiji Soeno 9th Dan, will be visiting London this summer. He will arrive on Thursday 21 June.

Hopefully he will be able to attend that evening's London dojo training. On the Friday night he will be conducting a two-hour seminar at the London dojo from 7pm till 9pm, at the end of which he will grade all suitable Kyu grades. This will cost £30 including grading.

On the Sunday he will be conducting a four-hour seminar at the Golden Lane Leisure Centre from 11.30am, just next to London Honbu, at the end of which he will grade blackbelts and any Kyu grades who couldn't make the Friday session. This seminar will be £50 although individual black belts will differ according to dan grade achieved.

Everyone is, of course, welcome to both events. Non-Shidokan members are also welcome. If you have any friends who would be interested let Kirsty or myself know.

This is a unique opportunity to train with a living legend. Focus on it and go for it. There is a limit on numbers so first come first served.
