Shihan Burnel meets Morocco

In April, one week after his return from Japan, Shihan Burnel was invited by the Moroccan Shidokan Confederation to give two seminars over the course of a weekend in Casablanca. 

On the Saturday he exclusively trained the blackbelts and senior coaches not only from Shidokan but from styles as wide ranging as Muay Thai, Kyokushin, Shotokan and Taekwondo.

On Sunday it was geared mainly for the students of the blackbelts from all the different styles. A very friendly and informative training session followed which stimulated great interest in Shidokan.

As a result of the visit it is hoped that warm relations will develop in future between England and Morocco Shidokan.

During the visit Shihan Burnel was shown the impressive Hassan II mosque and even found time for a barbecue on the long sandy beaches of the coast at that point.
