December was a month of grading for Macclesfield ,London and Cambridge dojos. A contingent of black belts drove up to the new dojo near Macclesfield. Gradings were held on two seperate occasions and all blackbelts were impressed by the standard of the new blue belts. Congratulations to all who passed and especially Senpai Steve Fenwick on the excellent work in preparing the new members to the Shidokan.

In London, a grading involving London and Cambridge dojos meant that a total of 33 fights took place.This was also to be Makoto Seshime's last night in England after nearly 2 years with us.Naturally, a combined sayonara and post-grading party was held afterwards.

Congratulations to all who passed and we are all very sorry to see Makoto go.

MARCH 16th - 8th Nice international Open Tournament. Registration must be completed by February 1st.

Winter Gasshaku to be held in England in February. Date and venue to be confirmed soon.


London dojo closes on Thursday December 20th (last session) and reopens on Thursday 10th January 2002.
