Below are two shots of Steve Fenwick and Dennis Austin when they fought at the World Cup tournament in Annecy France on February 21 this year. One is with Kancho SOENO. Steve fought three rounds, the last one going to gloves. Judges gave it to his opponent from France.

Immediately afterwards Steve said he would never fight again. Half an hour later he was asking about the Kyokushin Open tournament at Crystal Palace! He said that was a doddle compared to this Shidokan tournament.

Dennis(green belt-3 kyu) fought in his first ever tournament and nearly caused an upset against his black belt opponent. Only lack of experience finally let him down. A great two rounder.
